Triumph room HELP

Okay everyone I need some help. I want to book my wifes and my cruise FIRST cruise tomorrow, It will be on the Triumph Nov. 15th and will be the western Carib. I also want to book a 8b catagory cabin on the Empress deck.
My question is, do I want a side cabin or do I want an aft cabin, I know the aft cabins have bigger balconies, but how will the view be? Will we miss anything coming into or leaving the ports? Help us decide please.

We just returned from the Triumph yesterday- you will love her!

My husband and I were in an 8A- 6326. This was nice because we got to see the Miami homes on the way out of port, ans when we passed by Cuba in the early AM we sat on our balcony and watched. Of course we did the western Carribean, and I don't know what your itinerary will be like. I still would suggest an even numbered cabin.
