Hi, We are going on The Glory next April, I was wondereing where to stay before the cruise. Is there ocean front rooms, suites, packages, etc.etc. anyone ever stay somewhere really nice??????Thanks, Marge

We stayed at the Hilton Cocoa beach. They were oceanfront. They had nice rooms, a restaurant, bar and pool with tiki bar. We liked it.

Radisson at Cape Canaveral has rooms facing the Port and is only 1/2 mile south of it.
We are staying there in Aug before our Glory cruise.

Oorbear, we are also book at the Radisson to cruise on Glory the first of Sept. (Aug 30) actually, is that when you are going? Did you book the cruise package from the Radisson. They allow you to park there and transport you to and from the port. I was glad to find that, I hate driving in and out of those ports!

The Radisson is great. We stayed there in March. Some rooms do face the port but it's about a mile away and the ships look small. They have a great pool and I would rather have a room near it. There is free shuttle to the port at the Radisson or if you rented a car from Avis, their office is at the Radisson so you can drop the car off there and take the Avis free shuttle.

We are going 16 Aug. We are in an 8D Lido deck. We also are taking advantage of leaving our car at rhw Radisson it saves $70 in parking. Although we sailed out of Canaveral in November on SOS for a 3 day cruise and it was real easy driving in and out of the port. We booked a whirlpool suite so we will see what it is all about in 51 days give or take a few seconds.
