My son did Snuba while we were at Chankanaab on Cozumel. He really enjoyed it! Less cumbersom that scuba, more fun that just snorkeling.

You use an air line that is attached to a tank on the floating platform, they gave him good instruction and were very attentive.

What was the cost at Chankanaab? Did it include fins, mask, and weight belt? How long did the air last?

I did the Snuba excursion in Aruba.

It was absolutely wonderful! I would high recommend it!

I had done a Scuba dive MANY years ago in Cancun.....I thought that I might Scuba again on my recent trip but Snuba was just a much easier adventure.

I'd be happy to answer any questions.

I paid $99 for the excursion. This included the bus (short ride) to the ferry to De Palm Island in Aruba and the same back to the ship. Once at De Palm Island (about 3 1/2 hours) I had use of the facilities, open bar (sodas and alcoholic beverages) and lots of food (island buffet and a grill). The Snuba consisted of a on shore lesson, a comfort zone time period in the water and about a half an hour dive, I also had use of snokel gear.
