New Orleans after the Conquest

Hi to all

We are getting off the Conquest on Sunday Aug. 17th early!! Suggestions for what to do in New Orleans after droppig off our luggage at the hotel - not flying home until Monday evening..........Most tours start at 9 on a Sunday...won't make that......what else? Are the shops open on Sundays?

You can go to Cafe for great coffee and Benigns....at Cafe Du Monde (spelling) or have breakfast at Mother's....wow that's a great place and very inexpensive. Riverwalk opens early I believe...HEY if nothing else you can stop at Harrah's and spend a few nickels....might get lucky and win enough for another cruise.
