Going to be on the Conquest Nov 16th for 7 nights.....anyone else. Seems like a LONG way off....but I booked it in January, so most of my wait is behind me. First time on Carnival....there will be 3 of us middle ages girls out to have fun.
Only cruised with HAL and RCCL before but wanted to try a NEW big ship this time and the plus of going out of New Orleans sounded like fun too. Spend a Friday and Sat there to add to the fun days.Let me hear from ya if you are booked also........
I like to go to Pat O'Briens and sit in the courtyard by the flaming fountain and have a hurricane...mmmmm can't wait. Also we like to go and eat lunch at Mothers....I think it's on Poydras...not sure. It's a mom and pop place that has GREAT sandwiches....and of course the is the Cafe Dumode for benigns.....mmmmm.
If you want a real flare for their entertainment try the Cajun Cabin on Bourbon street....what a hoot...and really decent food for the prices.
We are coming out of Chicago and hope it's COLD here when we leave <G>
This is the first time with me reading this thread that I have actually seen someone coming from Chicago on it. I just had to ask who you had for a travel agent. Friends and I are planning trip for 3/21/04 on the Conquest and are looking for a good TA . If you have a suggestion I would really appreciate it(firstname.lastname@example.org). Thanks for your time and have fun on your cruise! Hope to see a review from you when you get back.
I have used Cruise One.....Vicki Lantz from St. Charles Illinois. You will like her....she is very nice. Best prices too...............This will be our 3rd cruise on 3 different lines and each one has been great
