Can anyone divert me to a good cruise website for good deals. More than likely my mother and I will be traveling on the Victory to the Western Caribbean on November 23rd and we would like to get the best price even on the cheapest cabins, and with time passing; will the prices come down as the date of departure gets nearer?
You submit the cruise you're looking for an agents will send you quotes. However, your identity is protected, as their quotes comes through CruiseMates system. Once you have a bid you like, you contact the agent you choose.
How do you know that those that answer your post are reputable Travel Agencies ? Is there someplace to look them up ? I have posted there and had a very good response but am a little hesitant.
In the Bargain finder it is op[en to all TA's and we have no idea how reputable they are and do not vouch for them. Many very good TA's respond but it is up to you to figure out if they are trustworthy or not. Now one can also look in the Cruise Bazaar area and the banner ads that appear all over the website. These agencies advertise with Cruisemates and we feel pretty good about them. They are all certified to sell in all 50 states, (some TA's aren't as some states have stricter rules) and we try and pick good trustworthy agents as our advertisers.
I think alot of pricing depends upon when and where you're going.
I found my cheapest for my Carnival Inspiration cruise for March 14, 2004 on
bestpricecruises.com but I did alot of research beforehand and checked local TA's and online ones to find the best deal for my timeframe.
No one place will alweays have the best prices for any one cruise. It varies by date, ship, cat etc. Best best is to shop around. Lots of good TA's advertise legally here in the Cruise Bazaar area that are worth a look.
