lunch

Okay here it goes again another silly question. If i bring a foldable lunch bag is it possible that i could orders ome sandwiches from room service in the morning so that i could take them for the kids. I know the kids are picky eatter i just thought that ai ham sandwich or something from the ship would be easier then trying to figuer out what to get them. Has anyone ever taken food off the ship and is it allowed. Thaks for your help.

Well, my thought would be: How would they know? Just bring a backpack and stash your food in it. I really doubt they'd be checking it.

Every cruise we have been on I have seen people take food off the ship for various reasons I guess. We have even seen them wrap it up in the cloth napkins and silverware taken also. I'm sure they don''t mind.

Yes people often do take food off the ship. I have not seen anyone take silverware off and I would highly recommend against it. They do have ametal dectector you pass through and to be caught stealing silverware would be pretty embarassing IMHO. <VBG>

I agree Jim I have no intention on stealing silverware or anything else. I just wanted to know if it was okay to bring some snacks for the kids and sandwiches off the boat. I don`t want to have any problems. But fromw hat I canr ead I guess it should be alright. Thanks everyone.

Sandwiches should be no problem, however like the US some countrys have agricultural rules that forbid bring fruits and vegatables into their countrys, so I would be careful about those rules.
