We are curious who the Cruise Director is on the Conquest, his name and if he's/she's good. We are leaving in November of this ship and from the reviews, etc., we are really looking forward for this cruise.
Steve Kassel. He is okay... enjoyed the social hosts more-- Dangerous Brian, Dominika and the dancers They did a lot of the games and activities during the day
The regular director for the Conquest is Corey Schmidt. The last I knew He is on Vacation until early this month. We were on the Conquest in June; He has some pretty good shows.
I ot an email from Corey that he was on vacation but going back to Conquest soon. He may be back already or he is very soon. You can read my very recent interview with Corey here...

Corey is due to return to the Conquest as CD on the September 7th sailing. Tomorrow's sailing (August 31st) will be Steve Kassel's last cruise on the Conquest as CD.
I sailed on the Victory New Years cruise 2002, and Cory was the CD there at that time. He was great...very talented and puts on a great bird show. Seemed very knowledgeable about the ports and tours.
Thanks for all your help. Also, thanks for the pics. We're leaving on the November 16th sailing of the Conquest and can hardly wait. I heard that Corey is a great CD.
We had Corey for our New Year's Eve cruise on the Conquest last January. He is a hoot. I saw him out in the Promanade almost every night just visiting with the guests. (and not just the pretty girls!) Thanks to his advice on Kirk's in Grand Cayman...hubby bought me the Rolex I have always wanted. ....so Corey will always have a very special place in my heart (and on my wrist!)
