I prefer to take the ferry just for the view. Several locals will be selling tickets on the pier for $5-6 per person round trip. There is a short walk from the point where the ferry drops you off to the actual resort entrance. Taxis of course would drop you off right at the entrance and I believe the fares were about the same amount.
The aquarium was $25 when I visited last September. A large portion of it could be viewed from the lobby/mall level of Atlantis for free. The fee allows you access to a few more areas and the underwater walkway.
Have a great time! I hope to sail on the Glory next year. Let us know how it is.

WHen I was at the Atlantas in Jan. paid $35.00 to see the Seaquarium. Jan. is considered high season. When there in Nov. paid $25.00 considered low season. Whatever the cost I would pay it, and I am not a lover of fish, but to me it was well worth the cost.
