has anyone done the fiesta party boat? is it worth the money?

I took the Fiesta Party Boat last week and had a great time.

The bar is open immediately and several people were trashed by the time we got to Playa Sol. That is probably okay since I didn't think Playa Sol was all that great. I wouldn't go there for serious snorkeling.

The boat is great for partying though, they have a live band and a lot of boozy fun.

If you are looking for a party - save yourself they tour price and just take a cab to Carlos & Charlies! You will NOT be disappointed! Great music and lots of fun, but you do have to buy your own drinks. I have stumbled many of times out of that place! !

DEFINITELY DO IT. We did the party boat and STILL had time to go to Carlos 'n Charlies. What a BLAST..... from what I remember.

I agree the fiesta boat is okay if you want to stay on the water, some people in our group did this in Jamica, not Cozumel. Go to Carlos and Charlie's or the frog place in Cozmel.

We have experiencd the Fiesta Party boat (Cozumel) twice.
The first time we were on the boat, and had a great time.
The second time, we stayed on the dock & watched the Fiesta
boat return. Watching those people try to get off the boat was almost as much fun.

If you are trying to compare costs, the folks on the Party Boat hit you up pretty hard for tips, so figure a couple of bucks there. If you want a locker at Playa Sol, that is $3, and the buffet at Playa Sol is $10 (best to stick with the free liquid lunch.)

We just returned yesterday 9-14-3, from Conquest cruise. the Fiesta Party boat was a blast! For the money , it was great. The rum and tequila drinks flowed, beer was also available. The tip boxes were obvious, but we didn't feel pressured to tip. Playa Sol staff did ask for tips for services. "you take care of me, I take care of you" Had parasailing and banana boat rides for $50 and $10 . Paddle boats, snorkeling,kayaks, floats, trampoline, and iceberg to climb all free. They brought the rum and tequila drinks to the beach. Food? Who needs food! We sang and danced and snorkeled( yes all at the same time) Shopped afterwards, some went to Carlos and Charlies and Senor Frogs.
Returned to ship, ordered room service for a snack( which was there in 3 minutes)and that was all she wrote! This was the only night we missed dinner in the dining room!
