Default Are alcoholic drinks more or less expensive at carnival.com?

I see that I can buy a 4 drink card on carnivals website and I was wondering if this was the cheapest route to go. Can anyone assist?

Thanks.

I think it works out to about a dollar a drink. Not cheaper than beer, just drinks like rum and coke etc...

I looked at my sign and sail bill and there are several 11.50 charges, I thought 13 for a bucket but who knows $4 sounds about right give or take a few cents.

If you drink frozen drinks (pina colada's ect) and use the drink coupons it is slightly cheaper (like $.10/drink cheaper). If you use the coupons to buy an individual beer you will be losing money since the face value of the coupon is more then the price of a beer and they don't give out change for the coupons. They can't be used for top shelf liqour.

I just returned from the Victory and I have many, many $13.23 charges for Buckets of Beer (11.50 + 15%). If you are traveling with others who also drink beer - that is the way to go.

If you like rum drinks, they offer a drink of the day. Buy the plastic glass, which is a hurricaine glass, for $6.95, then refills are $2.95 each.

It's 4 beers in a bucket. if you drink frozen drinks the coupons help in two ways. first they save you about .85 cents per drink and second and maybe most important, they are purchased ahead of time. I find that to really help because by the time you actually cruise you have absorbed the cost of the coupons. It makes it seem like you are getting free drinks. No extra gratuity or tax needs to be paid when using a coupon.

I think refills on the drink of the day are 4.95, not 2.95 (at least in the hurricane glass) so the drink card won't save a lot.

If you use the coupons and tip a dollar or so at the time of delivery.....they don't seem to mind the coupons so much....I have heard others say the service was slower with the coupons because they don't have gratuity added to them................makes sense, but I can't say cuz this will be my first attempt at trying the coupns......Just want to help pay most of the bar tab up front.
