Is the menu for the formal dining rooms posted each day? Just in case you could decide to eat elsewhere on the ship? I have read on the boards and in my brochure of all the alternative dining available in case you didn't get dressed up, but I didn't want to miss any really special nights.
ps You all have been so nice to all of us new cruisers.
The days menu is always posted just outside the dining room for your viewing. My wife and I always check this just to get our mouths watering. <VBG>

This will be my first CCL adventure. I had read in a review of Carnival somewhere...that if you do not want to eat in the "dress-up" dining room, that you could get the same menu items from the casual dining room. Is this true? And if so...is the casual dining room the same place (Lido) that the buffet is offered?
The lido deck buffet is the casual/alternative dining room they were speaking of. They have some of the same stuff there that they have in the dining room but you are not going to get the lobster or filet on the lido deck.
