Default Passport needed for Sensation?

Hi all,

We just booked our first cruise on the Sensation for Nov. 1st. It was kind of a last minute thing because we weren't sure if we could do it. We are very excited about going.

The ship makes stops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. My question is, will we need passports for these places? I have an expired passport, but even a renewal seems to take 4-6 weeks, and my boyfriend doesn't have one at all. We really don't want to have to pay for expedited, either.

Will a driver's license and a certified birth certificate be enough?

Thanks.

Holly,
A Passport is not necessary for those ports of call and a original BC and photo ID drivers license is fine. Passports are still the preferred way so get yours renewed ASAP and if your boyfriend wants to stick around you he better get his as well. <G>
