Default atlantic ocean- weather

My husband and i are sailing out of Norfolk on the 11th. How cold will it be sailing with the wind and all? It is supposed to be in the 70's in Norfolk but once we get off the coast what will it be like. 60's and windy or 40's and windy. I want to make sure I pack enough closes if it is going to be cold since I hate being cold. Please help! I gotta pack soon.

If it's anything like the Pacific with those climes then yes it was very windy and chilly until we got into warmer climes.
