Default CRITICAL QUESTION

I'm leaving on saturday for a cruise...returning the following Friday...

Our boat states we get back at 8am...

I have to pick up my 3 year old daughter from daycare that FRIDAY...What time do you think i'll get there...it's about an hour from where we dock(no traffic)...

Basically what time do you think i'll be on the road, that is off the boat and in my car...We have a cat 8 room if that makes any difference...

Thanks

If you are willing to carry EVERYTHING you have with you off of the ship yourself, you should start to disembark by about 9:30 a.m., hand your form to the customs rep and be on your way.

Otherwise figure 1/2 to 1 hour looking for your luggage, if that.

I think it depends of where you are docked at. I just got off the Holiday at New Orleans, which stated 8am also. We were the second group called to leave and we had our luggage and road the bus to the airport and was at the ticket counter at 9:30. I've heard it takes longer at other ports.

The very worst scenerio would be you'd get off the ship by noon as the next sailing will be ready to board, then figure in your driving time.
