Default tv's on board??

I am about to sail on the carnival paradise and was wondering whether or not I'll be able to watch sporting events while on board (Yanks. vs. Sox) and others. Thanks

If not on cabin TV, try the sports bar -- they have a satellite.

I've been on the Paradise twice so far ....... There are TV's in all of the cabins I have seen.

You will be able to get the national (US) channels while in port but I believe they only show movies (re-runs, over and over, and over again) while sailing. The sportsbar does have a Satellite signal but as I recall even that didn't track all that well while we were sailing. You might want to set the VCR at home to record something important before you leave. My wife sets 3 of them to record a bunch of stuff for us while we're gone. Sad, isn't it : )

Regards,
Ron

They have TVs in the cabins, and they will do their best to get NFL and World Series games. They also have a TV at the bar in the Paris Restaurant (Lido Deck, aft, starboard side) where they have a TV and they usually like to turn it to sporting events. There are no guarantees, expecially while at sea. However, the signal usually gets better at night.

As long as the game is on one of the networks you will be fine. You get NBC, CBS and ABC continuously. If it is on ESPN you might be out of luck. I think we only got Fox while in port but not at sea. I know my DH watched Monday Night Football on the ship without a problem in our cabin.
