Default Dr. Caves beach

How far from the ships landing is Dr. caves beach? Sounds like a great place.
Should we do Margaritaville first or the Dr. Caves beach? We probably will spend the day at these two places.

I spent a week in Jamaica several years ago - didn't go to Margaritaville, but did go to Doctor's cave - it was an amazing beach. You have to pay to get in, but it's not much. It is right on the main street. Unless they've changed it, I don't think you can walk from the pier to the beach, but it would be a short cab ride. I remember standing in about 3 feet of water and deciding to see if I could see my ring at the bottom (I know, dumb thing to do,b ut the water was so crystal clear). Anyway, dropped my ring and it was easy to find it and get it back. I don't know about the reported "healing powers" of the water, but it was definitely a nice beach.

We're going on the Conquest 11/9. Take a cab to M'ville, eat lunch, walk and shop on the way to Dr. Caves. Best way to enjoy Montego Bay.

Shops at the pier are good for other stuff, too.
