Just finished my cruise on the Elation on Oct. 26th-----had a blast, but now I've got to plan another trip---------------don't need a reply---just wanted to hear my self say it.
Completely understand! I was jealous of the next set of passengers that was going to be taking MY place on the ship!! We were on the Victory last January, and are going on the Spirit , January 2, 2004. Start planning that next trip kittyg!!
Look at me-I'm booker for a year away. Just being booked makes you feel better. If I were you I would plan and book now. Here is my official prescription.
rx-book one cruise in the morning
at lunch-begin thinking about excursions
at dinner-talk about what you did at breakfast and lunch
as needed-go to cruisemates.com while having a glass of wine and dream all you want.
I guarantee you will feel better.
That will be $235.00 plus $29.99 for the wine
You can make payments.

NJDave, that was too funny. I too am suffering from PCD...just back from Enchantment on RCI and, are you ready for this...I manage a Toys R Us and am just approaching our busy season...we're talking 6 days a week 10 hour days! Ugh I'm getting even more depressed by the minute. We're booking the Disney cruise this week for May 03....guess I'll just have to take what little time I'll have to use your anti-depressant prescription. Thanks!
Oh, yeah, the only way to get over that "post-cruise depression" is to book another. And to avoid it altogether make sure you have at least one cruise booked in advance before you even GO on the cruise. I am going on #15 in 11 days and have three more booked for 04. I have issues.
Know the feeling - the first significant sympton is when you hear yourself say, "Where do I go to stay on board another week." Which is followed by the urge to somehow turn around as you are disembarking and find yourself thinking, "Where can I hide out until the ship sails?"
According to my friends I go on lots of cruises every year. I could never understand that. Then I realized why ...
Scenario:
I just cruised at the end of October.
Assume I'm going on just 1 cruise in the coming year.
Here's what happens to my friends:
For the next 4 to 6 months I'm talking about and showing pictures and memorabilia of my last October cruise. After that I'm talking about my next cruise. Along with all that are comments in conversation about previous cruises.
Good Luck for the next six weeks. I worked for TRU through 11 seasons so I know what you are going to be dealing with. Every January I swore that as my last one, but you forget how bad it was after awhile, like childbirth...lol. Nothing like 2am re-shop to qet you in the Christmas spirit, huh. See you sometime around Jan 15th!
Happy Holidays
Melanie
