Default Empress vs. Interior Stateroom 4A

Just booked the Imagination 5 night leaving January 24th. I cought Carnival on a one day sale and got upgrades from an Interior Stateroom 4A to the oceanview Empress Deck 6D (E3) I believe. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Is it a huge difference. I thought it was a great deal. $329 per person for the Oceanview Empress 6D

The only real difference is that your new room has a window and your old room didn't, and it is on a different floor. You are much closer to all the action on the ship. The room sizes are the same.

If you are in roomm E3 you were upgraded form a 4A inside to a 5A outside porthole room.

That's a great upgrade

You are on the empress level now with a large picture window outside room. The empress level is the level with the Atrium and one floor below the shops, dining room, casino. You are much closer to the action without having to traverse many flights of steps or ride elevators to get to the goodies. It's a great upgrade.

Thomas
