LAX to Long Beach Pier?

Anyone know how long it will take us to get from LAX to Long Beach Pier?
We get in at 10:30am. I am wondering if we should go over to the Queen Mary or will we be too late for that special early check in?

It shouldn't take you more than 20 min. or so....of course, I've been out of L.A. for over 3 yrs. now, and I'm sure traffic is even worse..... The Queen Mary is nice, but you might save it for afterwards if you have the chance. I'd be too nervous, and excited to get to the ship!...OL

I believe the Queen Mary check-in is open until about 11:30am ish. So if you get there in time go ahead and checkin there. Makes embarkation move a little faster. Otherwise they have a checkin area set up in the dome. There will be two separate lines when entering the the dome. One for those who checked in on the QM and one for those who didn't . Just make sure you are in the correct line.

I think it took about half an hour for us to get to Long Beach. We didn't go right to the ship because we flew in a day early. We used Primetime Shuttle service, another big one out there is Super Shuttle. Both have websites were you can make reservations. Much cheaper then a cab.
