If you want a fun trip take Fury Catamarans. It's $55 each. They dock right at the ship and it's very easy getting on and off. First you go on a ride in a 65' catamaran and the employees will explain everything. You snorkel for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then take another long ride to their private beach. The beer and margaritas begin to flow after the snorkel at no extra charge. The ride itself is so fun. When you get to the beach they have cheesburgers in paradise, floats, hammocks and beach volleyball, more beer and margaritas. All this is included in the price of your ticket. They offer horseback riding at an extra expense. They have a fleet of catamarans so there will be lots of other people there. Hope you enjoy Cozumel no matter what you decide to do. We would do this exact same thing if we went back there. We took the afternoon tour which starts at 1:15 and were back in plenty of time to board the ship. They take awesome pictures of you while you snorkle with the fish everywhere. They will ask you first do you want your pic made. HAVE FUN........

Dthom--

I'm interested in that excursion tour... Did you book it through Carnival, or on your own? Do you have some more information on how I might book it? I'm planning on cruising in February '04. I'd really appreciate it!

Jecca,
We booked on the ship. You can book online but I think the cost is $58 per person online. Here is the website address you can copy and paste. Let me know how you enjoyed it. They also have a morning tour but we wanted the afternoon so we wouldn't have to be in such a hurry. We shopped all morning and ate lunch at Pancho's Backayard. Watch their margaritas if you go to Pancho's. They are WAY strong, good food, clean shopping in Coz.

When I was on the Conquest, in Cozumel we did Xcaret. It was a beautiful park but much too big to see in a small amount of time... It is also quite a distance away from the dock, and we were left with no time to see anything else there. If you have a lot of time, I would recommend it, but if it's only a few hours, pass until you can spend more than a few hours! Have a great time
