Will be sailing January 24th on the Imagination and was wondering what are some things to do on the ship that are out of the ordinary? Things like a behind the scenes tour or something along those lines? Any ideas?
Re: The "not so usual" things to do on the ship...
Not sure if all ships do this or not but on Galaxy they had one show performer ever day for a certain time peroid in the library just to talk with passengers. It was a Q @ A session that was very informal. I loved it because you got to know the person and what the country they were from was like and got 1st hand describtions of what their life was like as a performer o a ship. Something I didn't know was they all have day jobs on the ship, then go to rehersals and then the night perormance. So when I hear/see people complain about short the shows are I just think to myself how many of te could keep the schedule these performers do (talking of the ship personnel performers not the guest performers).

They have a galley tour which is supposed to be pretty interesting, we have managed to miss it on all of our cruises for one reason or another but want to do it at some point.
Re: The "not so usual" things to do on the ship...
My husband has asked for a engine room tour with each cruise but they all say that it is a matter of security. I have been on a galley tour on the Regal Princess. It was GREAT. I hope to do it again. It was very interesting how they have all the different areas and how clean it all was.

Our last cruise on the Paradise, they had a "Find out What its like to Live on A Cruise Ship". It was very interresting and we got to ask questions. They also have the galley tour which is really neat.

Just back off the Imagination 5 days ago. They do have a galley tour and it was pretty interesting. The tour ends in the dining room and they have crew there demonstrating cooking, show plate decorating, napkin folding and towell animal creation.
Any more Imagination questions just email me. Eric
