Default Will we get late night noise from above?

We am
We are booked on the Spirit, Jan. 18 to southern Carib. We have a stern cabin on the Panorama deck , balcony. I am certain that we will be experiencing extra noise in the cabin during the day, since there is a pool and spa above us, but will it be noisy also in the evening? We have always wanted a room at the very back of the ship, but now am wondering if we should have opted for the next level down. It's not too late to change, should we do it? Anyone been there? How was it? It looks like the balcony may be a little larger than those on the sides of the ship. Am I right? Thanks for help.

Hi,
We also have booked same cruise/deck, but mid-ship. The worry I had was the location of the bandstand should there be parties at night. Appears it is located somewhere between us should there be any activity. While I only recall one deck party , departing New Orleans, your T/A should be able to contact Carnival and provide guidance. Stern cabins do have extended balconies. Perhaps someone can provide more detail.
Mike,

you dont hear much noise from anything. If you have a room by an elevator, now thats noisy but other than that, you wont hear much late night noise.

Last year we were on a HAL ship. we were below the pool deck. The only noise we hear was in the morning when the crew lined up the chairs on the deck. About 6am or so.

Sterling, just got off the Spirit and we were on Panorama deck

That is *the* quietest pool of them all (our favorite). The bar area is far from where your cabin will be, and the only parties were at the main Lido deck pool.

I say keep it -- your balcony is huge and the view is stupendous.

We were on the Spirit on the Panorama deck below the kitchens--about 3:00 every morning they started breakfast preparations and there was a lot of noise for about 15 minutes or so. After the first night, I just put in ear plugs, and it was fine.

Our balcony room on the Conquest was OVER the promenade where they had live music every night and a mardi gras parade. We heard everything. So check to see what is below you too. Next cruise I'll get a little further up. When we went walking on deck at night there was nothing going on around the pools.
