We are booked on the Spirit, Jan. 18 to southern Carib. We have a stern cabin on the Panorama deck , balcony. I am certain that we will be experiencing extra noise in the cabin during the day, since there is a pool and spa above us, but will it be noisy also in the evening? We have always wanted a room at the very back of the ship, but now am wondering if we should have opted for the next level down. It's not too late to change, should we do it? Anyone been there? How was it? It looks like the balcony may be a little larger than those on the sides of the ship. Am I right? Thanks for help.
We also have booked same cruise/deck, but mid-ship. The worry I had was the location of the bandstand should there be parties at night. Appears it is located somewhere between us should there be any activity. While I only recall one deck party , departing New Orleans, your T/A should be able to contact Carnival and provide guidance. Stern cabins do have extended balconies. Perhaps someone can provide more detail.
Spirit Jan 18th, Pride/Elation/Triumph/Sensation/Inspiration/Sovereign of the Seas/Scandinavian Sky.
We were on the Spirit on the Panorama deck below the kitchens--about 3:00 every morning they started breakfast preparations and there was a lot of noise for about 15 minutes or so. After the first night, I just put in ear plugs, and it was fine.
Our balcony room on the Conquest was OVER the promenade where they had live music every night and a mardi gras parade. We heard everything. So check to see what is below you too. Next cruise I'll get a little further up. When we went walking on deck at night there was nothing going on around the pools.
