Default Carnival Spirit Aft cabin

We have book a balcony cabin in the rear of the ship (Sprit) on Empress deck. Have never had one in the rear of the ship and wondered if any of you have and how you liked (or disliked) them? Thanks, Marlene

Hello. We just returned from the Elation to Mexico. We were on the Empress Deck at the Front and it was GREAT. They Say the AFT is even smoother. We did feel some movement at the first, but we were rocked to sleep "gently" every night. WONDERFUL!
Have Fun, and it was our first cruise.

Returned home yesterday (11/15) from 2 week cruise on Spirit. We were on Empress Deck aft room 6331. Had no problems with movement. Every now and then we would feel some vibration but not bad. We had one day that the seas were pretty rough and wind was blowing around 40 + miles per hour and she rode well. Have a great time.

Mar...Estimate on the size of the balcony would be approximately 4' from door to railing and about 7-8 ft across. Chairs..2..plastic type..one regular chair and one a low sitting, like a sand chair, that did recline. There was also a small table. When is your cruise?

We leave Miami on Feb. 3, 2004. We will be with my sister-in-law and her husband. They are two cabins away from us but we wanted to all be able to sit out on one balcony in the evening before dinner. Sounds like it would work. We were on Island Princess and we four fit on one balcony. Perhaps we can get two more chairs for one of the balconies.
