I feel the need to vent about the survey we can fill out at the end of the cruise.
My first cruise was on Carnival's Sensation in April 1997.
The cruise was fantastic (hint, hint, "Love To Cruise").
Needless to say I'm pretty sure that everything, or close, exceeded my expectations.
I have now been on 11 cruises, 10 with Carnival.
Here's my problem...
Since the only top choices are "Exceeded My Expectations" and "Met My Expectations" I must now honestly usually rate at "Met My Expectations".
I wonder if Carnival processes those that are past cruisers different than first time cruisers. (If I remember correctly there are two questions, "Cruised before?" and "Cruised with Carnival before?"
I completely agree with you Ed. Because we have cruised before we know what to expect, so most of the answers I put down are met my expectations. If I feel that they could have improved on a given area, I mark the less than my expection box. Hopefully, they divide the surveys into first time cruisers and past cruisers to get a more accurate opinion.
As a repeat cruiser, my thought is if they improved on their services, then they get an "Exceeded Expectations" mark. If there is no improvement, then they get a "Met My Expectations" mark. It there is something that needs to be better, then it gets an "Oppropitunity for Improvement" mark.
