Default Voltage and/or plug adapter?

I'm looking for information about the type of electrical outlet available in Carnival staterooms. Are they 2 prong or 3 prong, and will I need a voltage adapter to power my laptop? If they are 2 prong outlets, does anyone know if a device exists that can convert a 2 prong to a 3 prong?

Default Re: Voltage and/or plug adapter?

I'm pretty sure that on Carnival they are 2 prong outlets, but I could be wrong. I know that there are only 2 outlets, which caused some trouble for my friend and I when we were trying to get ready (for 2 teenage girls it takes alot more than 2 outlets). So, you might want to bring a power strip. Hope this helps, at least a little!

Happy Cruising!
