Carnival seems to have replaced china by camping type plastic cups on the Lido deck. It make's for a lousy cup of Jo. I have begun to keep a cup from the dining room in the cabin and bring with me to the Lido.

While I have not yet done this, I plan to do so for my March trip. The thermal type travel mugs seem to be real handy for keeping a large coffee hot , water iced and frozen thingees still frozen while on deck. As for packing, I'll just stuff the mugs with small soft noncrushable items like my lingere so no wasted space.
A friend of mine told me it was the one thing she wished she had brought with on her cruise. She plans to bring her stainless steel insulated mug with her next time. I'm going on my first cruise end of this month and am going to do the same.
I agree we always carry two insulated stainless steel mugs on the cruises. Even when the Lido deck has china it is easier than going back multiple times to refill and it stays warm. Also keeps my iced tea cold at the pool in the afternoon.
