Default Port Canaveral Parking

We are going on the Glory in Feb.04, and was wondering if anyone who has been to Canaveral recently can give us any info on parking. Is it still a nightmare? Or have they been able to improve the parking and embarkation? Any info is appreciated. Thank you!

I was there in June and parts are still under construction but it was not a problem getting in and out. The parking fee is now $12 per day and paid in advance.

Regards,
Thomas

If you're coming in the night before, there are several hotels in the area that offer free parking and shuttle. Our tablemates used this service and saved money even with the extra night of hotel fees.

Just came off the Glory 12/6, it was great. Parking garage was easy to get in & out of (no contruction that we could see other than the exterior of the garage getting a coat of paint. Embarkation, be patient. However, we were off the ship by 9:45 & the ship was empty by 10:30.

We came off the Glory on 12/6, too. We had stayed at the Radisson at the Port the night before and the shuttle is on a first come first serve basis so the earliest we could get was 1 pm. We opted to take a taxi to and from the hotel which cost about $12 each way. Much cheaper than the $10-12 per day parking fee at the port. It was so much more convenient too being dropped off and picked up right by the boat and not having to fight the traffic. We thought it was the way to go and would probably do it the same way again.
