Default Coolers???

For those of you that carry on your own soft drinks, bottled water and soda. Do you bring a cooler. Or just always drink it over ice???? The Elation, I understand, doesn't have refrigerators in the cabins.

Thanks,

Natalie

Thank you for your replies. I assume by your answers that you can just set the cooler in your room and put your drinks in it and the steward will keep it iced?

I have always taken a mid size softshell cooler with a heaver guage garbage bag, filled it with beer/soda and carried it aboard. I even bought more beer and soda in the ports. Nobody seened to mind. Tip your stewart the 1st day and they will fill it with ice daily.

Can you bring beer in cooler? My sister & brother in law did on a RC cruise, but we weren't sure about Carnival?

Thanks Kruizin 56. If you bring Wine, you need to keep it cool yourself on ice in your cabin? If you bring it to dinner are you automatically charged $10.00 or is it up to the waitstaff?

Thanks again,

Natalie

I carry a fold up cooler. They keep it full for me. I have to say something for them to do it. I did have one room stewart that did it off the bat without me asking and he was rewarded. It is great to have a cooler in the cabin. It will keep yogurt cool as well for a morning snack. We also get room service sandwiches on shore days and take them along. Put the food in a freezer bag and then in the cooler. Great if you go to like the beach. We take soda and water as well with us.

Yes you can carry bear on board. We did just two weeks ago on the Triumph. Our room steward kept ice in it daily .

What about a mid size cooler on wheels? I was thinking of buying one, putting pop and water (12 pack of each) in it but didn't want to "carry" all the weight. Figured it would be worth it and would just give it away before I flew home, but not sure if the Triumph will allow it.

Have this red square cooler about 14X11, lined with silver and plastic, California Innovations. You convinced me, I am taking it. Question is, do I have to check it if I put white wine in it or can I carry it on as a carry on?
