Hotel hints Pre-cruise in Puerto Rico?

Hi, 6 of us (4adult 2 -16 year old girls), will be sailing on the 2/15/03 Destiny. Does any one have any suggestions where to stay (reasonably priced) in Puerto Rico. Does not need to be in San Juan...we need two nights pre-sail date and one night post sail. Thank you for any hints.

Hampton Inn is nice. It is close to the airport, not the port (I believe the name of the city is Caroline). Nice continental breakfast included and very helpful front desk staff.

Don't stay at the RADDISON, it was dirty and in need of renovations, food was bad, stay at one of the beach hotels in Condado, a cab ride to the pier was 20$ for 5 people with 7 pieces of luggage. Pam

Hi I suggest you check out the rates at the Marroit & Condado Plaza which are close to the pier only a 5 to 7 min. ride away. Both hotels are nice I've stayed in both.
