Door decoration... yes or no??

Since I am cruising for the first time for my 30th, I thought it would be kinda fun to do a door decoration. It would make a great souvenier, I think, and a great memory. I thought about doing something like "For my next 30yrs, I should......" and have a marker hanging for people to sign and give their advice. Yes, I am sure I am opening myself up to rude remarks however those I can cover up when I come up with a photo or something.

Any thoughts on this? What kind of doors do the Celebration have? Duct tape hold it?

Ok, for some reason it logged me out... Here is my cruise info

I did this one year for Halloween and people told me that it was great because they always knew where they were when they saw my door decoration! You can get lost in all those hallways so they used it as a marker for where they were.... I also put some in the windows and take a picture when I get off the ship.

I went on my first cruise in September on the Conquest (it was awesome). My friends and I all decorated our doors. It came in very handy when locating our rooms, and helped us find one another. We made a banner from a Sponge Bob tablecloth, and decorated with little cutouts, our friends (who were celebrating an anniversary) had a champagne glass cutout. We did not see many door decorations, which worked out well for us! The hallways are long and identical and I oftened got turned around, but I could see our door decorations from the elevator foyer.

Have decorated our door on almost every cruise. Makes it easy to find home and provides lots of conversation..... On one cruise even had a contest set up through these message boards.....
The soft putty sold at Walmart works well to attach stuff and leaves no marks.
