Bonjour, We are fellow canadians from Montréal. Sprocket, we are also going on the Triumph the 21st of Feb we can not wait it is freezing on the east coast. We are a group of 17 between the ages of 50-21 it is a family reunion. We are counting the days I believe we are at 41now. Best Regards from the east... Happy Sailing
From Thunder Bay, it's been -30 c here for the past week. Hubby and I cruise without the kids for our 10th anniversary, second cruise on Victory Feb. 1st. Can't wait... Kind of nice it's so cold, will make the cruise even better.
In 1964 I car camped all summer across Canada from Ottawa to Banff.
Does this make me an honorary Canadian ? ? ? :-)
From the infighting over the "new" flag in Ottawa at your Parliament, to the beautiful emerald Lake Louise, I never had a dull moment. God, what a beautiful country. Even though we don't always agree politically, I think I can speak for the American people by saying we will always have a warm spot in our hearts for our great neighbors to the North. Our border is the longest unguarded political boundary in the World. That says something.:-)
Of course, I came to my senses and have lived in Southern California every since. Clear skies today and 78 degrees, folks.
Supposed to get a "little" warmer this weekend though. :-)
Hi, we're a group from northern Alberta and can't wait to leave Feb. 1 from New Orleans on the Conquest. We just had a spell of -40C weather and are anxious to get away for a while. The farmer's almanac is forecasting a very cold week while we're gone too!
We did the Victory 2 years ago....god what a huge ship. We had a blast on the Western Carb. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we did ours. We've been on 3 Carnvial ships and plan to go with the family this Oct or Nov via Christmas presents. We are looking at the Ledgend or the Miracle. Anyway enjoy; anything is better than this COLD as we also live in Oshawa.
Hi Ode - we are from Windsor also. Looking forward to leaving one week after you for the southern Caribbean out of San Juan. Our 11th cruise - the 9th with Carnival. We will wave as our planes pass each other in the skies. ( we will be the ones starting our vacation :-) )
Hey Hosers! How ya doin eh? Just came in from outside - had to shovel eh and just took my touque off eh. Fried up a little back bacon for breakfast, then off to the shop for some Tim-bits eh. Then listened to a little CBC, shovel some more and then it's the hocky game eh! So how was your day lol. Tongue out of cheek now - it is nice to find fellow country men all over the place. We are in Vancouver, snow is almost gone - rain is busy attacking the brown and yellow remains. We sail on the Glory at the end of February - can't wait - any others going or do we have that beautiful ship all to ourselves. That would make it a sure things for seconds on Lobster night lol. Happy New Year to all and clear sailing - Jennifer
I've been on two carnival cruises before and am going on my third March 14th. Can't wait to leave the cold here in London, ON. Anyone been on the Inspiration lately? I hear it's showing its age. Aren't we all?
