Default disembarkment - stay on ship?

My flight doesn't leave Miami till 5:15pm on the Sunday of my disembarkment. How long can i stay on the ship for? What's there to do when your hauling luggage around?

Any advise or suggestions would be great!!!

Cheers...bw

You will need to disembard the ship when your luggage tag color is called. The ships crew have a short amount of time to prepare for the next group of cruisers arriving. All passengers must be off the ship prior to their embarkation.

There are 3 shore tours offered that you might be interested in. It sure would beat waiting in the airport. They are listed on Carnival's website.

Happy cruising,
