Malibu Beach in Barbados

Has anyone been to Malibu Beach in Barbados? If so, how does it compare with the Boatyard? Thanks.

It sounds a lot quieter than the Boatyard, the party beach. Their own web site has nothing useful on it, here's a site with a short review of it:

Did you have to get a day pass to go to Malibu Beach Club? Again, thanks

We have gone on Carnival's malibu excursion and had a good time. You get a tour of the factory and then some time to spend on their private beach. The beach has lounge chairs, umbrellas and a full bathroom and lockers area. Not much for snorkeling on the beach but the water is crystal clear and nice. I think you get one free drink and have to pay for the rest, it is definately not a free booze afternoon. The gift shop has pretty good prices if you are interested, the Lime Malibu is great and you can only get it in a few spots (Barbados being one of them).

For Hei,
The ppl that went there on their own didn't say they had to pay an entrance fee. Some said there was a $3 charge for a lounger, and others said it was $5.

On the link you gave me about Malibu spoke of a Day Pass and we must allow 24 hours, don't mind the $$ just didn't want to be turned away at the door.

We usually go to the Boatyard and have enjoyed it but then again we arrive early and leave early. Old Folks, we can only take so much fun.

You do not need to do a Carnival excursion to go to Malibu Beach. Just get offf the ship and get a taxi ( there are tons) and they will take you for $3 a person. When you are done there are plenty of taxis waiting desperately to take you back.
