Default Paradise Eastern Itinerary

We are going on the Paradise soon and would appreciate any information on the Eastern itinerary. Can't find much info on Dominican Republic so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi.
Troy was my cruise director on my March and June cruises but Shawn Bussey was my cruise director in December....I have to say I preferred Shawn as she also grew up in Miami and was a bit nicer to me

check out Andy Gilbert's review on the reader cruise review section..he also did this trip,
We are also going in 29 days (yeah) and Mr. Gilbert e-mailed me with what they did at DR..took a taxi to Bahahibe beach and stayed there for 3 hours then taxi picked them up..he said they didn't pay until the guy came back.. Said it was a nice clean beach..but some topless sunbathing ( we are taking kids ranging in age 5-10)..all boys except for 1 5yo girl....I think carnival also offers this beach as an excursion.

Hi guys !

I am also going on this cruise and I was born in DR.
I really recommend going to Bayahibe. It's probably one of the nicest beaches in DR. Perfectly clear blue and great sand. That is most likely what I will do since I'm happy just finding a beach and going there in every stop.
I can't wait to set foot in the homeland. For me there's nothing like it.

Erin I will be going in that cruise maybe you and your bf will want to split a cab.

Just be sure to write a lot about DR when you get back to help us folks not going until June. We have been to the other two ports...but there is no problem there. Just our first time to DR.

The DR also has casino gambling with all the major games, if anyone's interested. DR is a major vacation destination for Europeans, because it's relatively cheap, gorgeous resorts and beaches, and lots of charter flights. It's becoming more popular with Americans, too, because their all-inclusives are REALLY all-inclusive, including things like golf, horseback riding on the beach, brand-name liquor, and Cuban cigars, as well as Dominican, and cigarettes.

We took the Riverboat and Altos de Chavon Village Tour. Altos de Chavon is a neat little artist village with shops and a nice restaurant. You can easily do it on your own by hopping a cab!
