Default transfers vs. taxi to ship

Hi gang,

We have booked our own air from KC to Miami for March, and was wondering the pro's or cons of grabbing a taxi to go to the Carnival pier vs. booking the bus at the airport when we arrive at Miami.
Also, we we're on the Triumph which sails into San Juan Sun. eve. I suspect that very little in the way of stores will be open (especially on Sunday, even with a cruise ship in port). Any suggestions for things to do (I've been to El Morro once or twice before). Many thanks for your thoughts!

Mike

Default Re: transfers vs. taxi to ship

I personally would just grab a cab. It should be about $18-$20 for the taxi and not PP. In San Juan there is very little to nothing to do at night unless you go to the ships tour show or are a gambler and go to the casino ashore. We stay on the ship if it is at night.
