do you tip room service?

Accually, I've been on five other cruise's and never used room service for a meal. Alot of people on cruise mates say they do. Do you tip at the time of service, or is the tips added on your sign and sail at the end good enough? If you do tip, then how much? Also, is it a good service to use? And also how much can you use them. Do they get mad if you use them alot. Any info would help.

We just got off of the Victory. Used room service every morning for coffee on our balcony. Ususlly tipped one to two dollars (sometimes had lunch). Tips are not added on your sail and sign.

Our rule is $2 a service.

We always use 'em for a morning wake up (coffee and light food) and lunch in port.

Yes, do tip....they are NOT added to your sign and sail account. I always tip at the time of service 1 or 2 dollars depending on what or how much I ordered.

I always tip 2-3 dollars, depending on what I order.

I always write in the tip on the slip they give you when they drop off. The tips are added to your sail and sign account.

We usually tipped $1 for every meal and drink we ordered. So if 4 of us ordered something we gave $4.

When we were out of the cabin and the kids were in we had a space to keep some dollars in case they wanted to order something they could tip. (and they did a few times)

Tip in cash every time. They are not added to your sail and sign card.

OK...they are added to your bill, whatever.

Point is, you can WRITE in an amount when room service is delivered.

If you don't have cash on hand, don't worry about it.

Yes I always tip a few dollars for room service. The only meal I've ordered is a small breakfast, so I usually give the person who delivers it $2.00.

I never saw a 'bill' for room service. There was no option on the cruise we were on to add it to a bill.

No 'bill' and tips are not added to your S&S card for room service. Tip the person delivering it in cash at the time of the delivery. That is the way they get tips.

Every time I have sailed Carnival I have had to sign a recipt for room service.

I have a bag full of them that I save with the sail and sign slips.

I always write in a tip, and the tip ALWAYS shows up on my detailed charge sheet.

I have never recieved a bill, unless I order Soda.
