getting to chichen itza from progreso help

how about renting a van with a driver to Chichen Itza instead of the bus provided by the ship/ possible tour operator local when we arrive ?

We took the Bus and enjoyed the ride. Air-conditioned and the tour guide was very informative and entertaining. They drive crazy there and I wouldn't want to drive. And I have driven in Houston and San Francisco. Maybe it was just wekend traffic. The ruins are AWSOME. Highly Recommended. They stop for 20 minutes of shopping and Pottyroom break. Bon Voyage.
