Default Corona

Is there a company that delivers gifts to your cabin other than through Carnival itself? Would love to be able to send some Corona aboard. Is it possible to smuggle bottled beer aboard?

Is it safe to put glass bottles (ie Corona) in your checked luggage? What are the chances of them getting broken?

They will get broken! YOur luggage is slammed around so much it is patheltic! Mine is broken from the cruise ships but I fix it and bring it anyway as I know they will break it again. They broke the wheel off the bottom - it takes a little effort to do that. Do NOT put glass in your checked bags!!!

I would not bring glass on - it will get caught. Personally we use www.wellwishers.com and for $45-50 they will deliver a case (that is 24 not 12) in a basket with lime to your cabin the day you arrive. Worked great!

Just heard back from WellWishers. They wanted $101.50 + $10 delivery charge for a case of Corona with lime. Ouch! I'll guess we'll be looking for those buckets of beer on baord!

I had 2 hard halliburton suitcases, one full of liquor and soft drinks wrapped in towels, bubble wrap and plastic mesh. I alternated a plastic bottle with a hard wine bottle. Nothing broke. Yes, it will break in a soft cover suitcase.

Dont bring glass, it will not survive. They throw your luggage. I brought cans and I packed them good and they still came out dented. Another cruiser with us packed his and lost 2 cans. Good thing there was just beer in it. You know the guys knew it after they smelled beer leaking from the luggage but hey, it got on. To bad they dont sell corona in cans. get some green keg cans...lol

Actually they do sell Corona in cans, but it's not the same. Try putting a slice of lime through the little hole!
