Cat.9A cabin

I see that a cat.9A cabin is directly behing the elevators, is there a lot of noise from the elevator to deter me from reserving this cabin?

I have one of these rooms, on the Conquest, sailing February 29, 2004 (yea 2 weeks).
Room is 7445, I will let you know.
If you want one of these rooms......book EARLY. I booked this room January of 2003.

no they dont have alot of noise. We were right by them and didnt hera a sound.

In all the cruises I've been on (8) I'm amazed how sound proof the carnival cabins have been - except for one cruise where we had an over zelous cabin steward that would vacuum the hallway very early in the morning and bang our door with his vacuum - but he was very nice to stop when we asked him. :-)
