Anyone else out there going to the Bahamas?

We are first-time cruisers, and want to have a terrific time! Any advice on "must do" things while we are there? Any shore excursion advice?

We just returned from a January sailing on the Fantasy. Don't let the pier at Freeport fool you - there are beautiful beaches and sites in Freeport - unfortunately, the pier where the ship docks is not one of them!

We enjoyed our visit to Port Lucaya to shop, but there wasn't enough to keep us busy all day. I suggest some sort of excursion - whether on your own or with the ship excursions.
