Coach & Louis bags

Hello

Anyone out there know of any reputable places in Grand Cayman, Ochos Rios, or Cozumel where I can buy designer bags (i.e. Coach, Louis V., DooneyB. etc) that are either authentic or *super*-undetectable fauxs....at prices I can't get here in New England? I've been eyeing the Hamptons Flap Satchel by Coach for a couple weeks now but at almost $400 I just can't justify spending that (just yet).

I hear all the time about being able to buy faux rolexes for $25 in Cayman but nothing about other designer brands.....

Then again, I guess I can always head to NYC for the goods too.......

Any opinions/information/advice either way?? It would be nice to hear from those who have purchased a piece of high quality out in one of those islands.

I don't know about those places, but my friends swears that there is a Coach Outlet in Key West....apparently one of her friends bought like a $20 coach bag there...

There is a Coach outlet in Key West, right by the Banana Republic and Express. The Hamptons collections there are cheaper and is definatley worth the trip. That's really all thats there in the Western Carribbean itinerary. Hope that helped.

Oh, and Tenley, the only way you can get a $20 bag is if its like from a few seasons ago.. The lowest actual pocketbooks there are around 50.. maybe cheaper.. I picked up one for 60

In Cozumel I saw all kinds of Dooney & Bourke and Coach faux purses about 1.5 years ago but the fake was definitely fake, you could tell. Get yourself to a Coach outlet and the prices are better than regular store but it's not cheap, cheap in the Coach outlet either - you will pay about 1/2, maybe a little lower if they are having some sort of sale. Make sure you check out their clearance section, that's where the best deal are found. Coach outlets are all around - Gatlingburg, etc. lots of the outlets. Otherwise, I've found great deals on ebay on new or gently used Coach and Dooney & Bourke, just know what you're looking for and bid according.

Good luck and maybe this time there will be better fakes in Cozumel when we visit!

You do know about all the Coach outlets in New England, right? There are several there, but the prices still are not cheap. I also have had some luck on eBay, but only buy new bags and only from people with lots of good recommendations.

The Tanger Outlets in Riverhead Long Island has a coach outlet.
Maybe you can look them up on line and you can buy a pocketbook by mail.

There is a Coach Factory Store in Manchester, VT and one on Freeport. Go to the Coach website and you can find the location of the others.
