Re: Horseback riding cozumel, grand cayman or ocho rios?
We rode with Rancho Buenavista in Cozumel and were awfully disappointed. Well, the ranch staff were very courteous and helpful with the horses, and they worked hard to explain the Mayan culture, but the "Mayan Ruins" we were promised were simply piles of rubble in the woods. They did have some re-creations of fertility huts and whatnot, too. I'm not saying NOT to take this excursion, but just be aware that it's not some romantic ride with amazing artifacts. You could get virtually the same experience at your local horse ranch anywhere in the U.S.
