I am a first time cruiser and we are sailing on the Miracle in April. I was wondering what there is to do when your "at sea"?

Bingo, pool side games, art auctions, wine tasting, shopping, and of course my two favorite things.... resting and eating!

There is so much to do when at sea you will have a hard time deciding what things you'll have to forfeit.

Bingo, casino, trivia contest, volleyball games, galley tours, horse racing, stage games, scavenger hunts, ping pong tournaments, blackjack tournaments, pool games, karaoke, and much more.

Regards,
Thomas

Casino, cooking demos, dance lessons, spa, gym, ping pong, shuffle board, golf(on some ships), ice skating and rock climbing on some. Eating, drinking, relaxing, soaking up sunshine, cards, bridge if you play, libraries, movies, internet, trivia contests, swimming pools, hot tubs, some still do skeet shooting (but not many). There is probably nothing more soothing than just looking out over the blue water off the stern of a cruise ship. Shops are usually open onboard . There are galley tours, wine tastings, port seminars about your future stops.
Usually the complaint is that there is too much to do.
Frankly all I need on a sea day is two chairs near the stern, some sun, an attentive bar waiter , a good book and some spf 30. I will take a break or two for a dip in the pool, another for some food at midday.

Work out in the morning, lounge around the pool with a bucket of beers all day while checking out babes in bikinis, enter the belly flop contest, have a snack in the Windjammer, go back to your reserved pool lounge, get another bucket of beers, fall asleep in the sun, sober up and get ready for dinner, start drinking again... I didn't know there was anything else.

My top 3 favorite things tend to be eat, eat, and eat. I also people watch, tan and read. Generally I am good for a 300 page book/day on a cruise.

We found that we kept peculiar hours on the ship, and enjoyed it. It was great to not be on a schedule, so we'd sleep a few hours here and there, eat, sun, play cards, read, and do it all over again. You may find that's all the activity you need at sea.

hello,

Unless it rains! On my cruise 2 weeks ago the day at sea was rainy and windy! Kinda put a damper on things!

For all I care, oh wait, Im on vacation I dont care...... At sea is the best time of any cruise,, like everyone says, there is so much to do, that you dont have time enough in a day to do everything you want,, just as long as toward the end of the night, I can go get my hot pastrami with swiss cheese grilled and a drink to wash it down with, the end of the day is complete.. oh yea,, I forgot to mention,, the icecream cone to put me to sleep....... enjoy yourself, your on vacation..
