Default Pro. photographer - costly?

I hear the posed photos are great on the ship, and that people choose to do family photos that way. What do you think? Do they do a great job? Is it expensive?

You don't have to buy them if you don't want them
They take pictures of you all week , They will display them in the photo shop
You only buy the ones you like they are about $12- $20 each
We always had good luck with them. I buy about 3- 5 per cruise.

Seems a bit expensive because you purchase by the picture....8x10 is $20ea and 5x7 is $12ea or something like that. But it is a really easy way to get some nice pictures done without having to pay a sitting fee with a photographer and get everyone dressed up and organize times that fit everyone's schedules. You just have to be careful not to get carried away.

They don't charge anything for the sitting fee and they are there all the time, no need to schedule, etc. If you wanted something casual by the pool - they are there, etc. Then you view them in a common viewing area any time you want and just buy if you're happy with them. All in all, $20 for the 8x10 is a great deal for what you would pay at a "real" photographer, have them take you out deck and take pictures with water behind you - just beautiful.
