Default Can we switch between cabins?

After booking/paying in full our cruise, I noticed that the names of who's in each cabin (of 2) is different than the way we wanted it. I don't want to fork over $150 to change the names, can we just move once we get there and go through the lifboat drill? We are close to each other so I'm assuming we will be in the same lifeboat in the event of an emergency. Any help with this question is appreciated!

Cindy

You can stay in any room you wish, they will have no way of knowing whom is in which room , dont fret the little stuf and go and enjoy your cruise

After you get on board, go to the information desk and have them give you new cards with the current/correct names on them.

Just curious...My 9 year old is assigned to the cabin across the hall from us. He is staying in the room with other family members. If he wants to stay in the cabin with his dad and me, can we just leave a note for the steward to lower the bunk? Or what if he decides after dinner that he wants to stay with us? I guess what I'm asking is......Is it a problem to have the bunk lowered later in the evening? Will the steward refuse to lower the bunk because he isn't assigned to our cabin?
Thanks,
Allison

You sure your cabin has a bunk? We were told that Carnvial frowns on giving rooms to parties with less then the room's capicity. We wanted a 4 person cabin because it was located closer to the middle of th ship but were told we couldn't get it until MAYBE the last minute if Carnival couldn't sell it to a 4 person group....

Well, I guess I don't know for sure. So would the steward say anything about him sleeping on the sofa?

Barry,

They won't question this at the pursers desk? I was planning on having more key cards made but didn't even think about changing the names! Thanks for the help!
