My girlfriends and I are planning a getaway next year, hopefully on Carnival Holiday. We were wondering if they have a stateroom that holds the four of us, or if we have to get two rooms to accomodate the four of us? If anyone has any information regarding this please let me know! It would be much appreciated!
There are staterooms that accomodate four people. I haven't done it, but my daughter and three of her friends shared such a stateroom, while I and another mother shared one. They seemed to do fine. Just remember you have one, small bathroom for 4 women.
If you book a quad you should be fine, because you'll never be in your cabin. THe real problem is going to be fitting all your suitcases and sharing one bathroom. You would need to stager your shower times. Bring a power strip for by the mirror so you can do blow drying, curling iron, makeup etc. out there instead of hogging up the bathroom!
I went on the Conguest in October and it was myself and two other friends. There were three large closets, two lowerbeds and two pull down beds. It was fine for all of us because we really were only in the room to sleep and change clothes.
Last year I chaperoned a Carnival Fascination cruise trip with 30 girls ages 13-18. Each chaperone roomed with three girls. These girls were active and performed one afternoon on the ship. I am a bit clostrophobic and even I felt comfortable in our room. We had a room that had two beds that flipped up and fastened to the wall, which could be flipped and put away during the daytime hours. We were comfortable and had the time of our lives. Many of our fondest memories were the laughs we had in our cabin. Getting ready for Captain's night was the most challenging aspect of the small cabin. We kept a laid back attitude and things went better than I would have imagined. Our family happens to camp occasionally, and you can easily look at a inside cabin for four a huge upgrade, compared to a tent in the wilderness! It's what you make of it I suppose. Remember on Carnival the third and fourth passenger get a reduced rate if you are all sharing one cabin. If you book two cabins you lose the option to enjoy that savings.
