Default Menu on Formal Night

Is the menu on formal night superior to other nights? I'm not particullarly interested in dressing up on a cruise, but great food might just tempt me.

Remember, "formal" on the ship is not too much of dressing up......some peoples' ideas of formal is ridiculous of course but a nice sportcoat, collared shirt and slacks (tie preferably) is perfectly acceptable, so don't worry about having to dress up too much.
The menu on formal night is pretty special. It's usually the most desirable items.....I think the Lobster is on the menu that night for instance.

I thought the menu was just as good as formal nights.

The menu is always excellent in my opinion but the 'classiest' so to speak dishes are on formal night. As I said before I think it is lobster and Prime Rib and some other entrees.

If you don't mind throwing on a tie, I'd venture into the dining room for formal night.

It's not nearly as "formal" as you might guess. Last week, on the Conquest, I saw a minimal amount of tuxes, quite a few suits, and PLENTY of guys with Dockers, tucked in shirts and a tie.

You'll be fine.

I enjoy formal night for the menu. Have a groovy cruise!
