diet Coke addict

so, for someone who is totally NEEDING a diet coke fix every, say, hour.... what soda can you get (and when/where on the ship) using the fountain card? What is the cost? If it's the wrong "kind" of soda available, can you take your own onboard?

(this is actually not MY question - I'm not too big on soda. But apparently if you're a real Coke affectionado, Pepsi just won't do, lol)

This mystery person will just have to go "cold turkey" and drink water or tea. Really, we took a six pack of Diet Coke Caffine free and they did not bother us. I read on the board that some ships have this also but I didn't notice on the Pride whether they did or didn't as we never bought any from the bars.

Carnival only has Coke products.. and though on most cruise lines the soda card is only good for fountain drinks, Carnival only uses cans... no fountain drinks, so you get canned Coke products.. though they do pour it intoa glass for you.

Diet Coke is no problem... and if u ask they'll find the caffeine free as well.

We always stop at a convenient store or grocery store right before getting on the ship and carry 2 12 packs of diet coke on the ship - not a problem. Our room steward even (on 3 cruises) keep the garbage can filled with ice and our pop in the ice. We also take a little collapsable cooler in our luggage - you know, the soft sided kind and take our own Diet Cokes up on the deck then sitting by the pool.
