this is my first cruise...we sail sunday march 14th on the conquest. i got butterflies yesterday when i realized it was just one week away! i probably have a thousand questions but i guess i'm wondering about a few things most of all--am i the only person who has admitted she is powerless against the siren call of credit cards and plans to use cash? is it really inconvenient? i hate to think i'll be holding things up for 2900 people. lol. i've also admitted that i'm powerless to get my wonderful husband to go anywhere () so...i'm tagging along on this cruise with a long-time friend, her daughter, the daughter's fiance and his parents. and being a tagalong has meant that i haven't been in on the planning, stateroom decisions, etc., and have no idea what shore excursions the others are interested in. my friend wants to snorkel but that's all she's mentioned. my sister-in-law says the stingrays are a must-see. personally, i read the description of passion island with a fair amount of yearning...isn't that where those dreamy corona commercials are filmed? cruisediva.com recommended it highly and made it sound like my idea of what a vacation is all about ! could i go by myself if the others aren't interested? and, hey, i won't be subjecting anyone to the sight of my 45 year old backside in a thong but i do have a pressing fashion question...at dinner do i HAVE to wear pantyhose with my kicky little black dress and sandals??? thanks for any imput and be gentle...it's my first time. lol.
